aveComm® Features
Voice Mail
Other than online voice conference, Voice Mail service allows users to send audio messages to other users. The recorded audio data is stored in the aveComm server database. Voice Mail service is implemented in two types of user interfaces, one for sending Voice Mail and another for checking Voice Mail. A Voice Mail inbox is provided at the receiver side. The Voice Mail inbox lists the details of the message, sender information and time of receipt. Upon selecting a Voice Mail, there are options to play, pause or stop a message.
Messages can be sent to other members while not in conference or logged in. The server sends a list of messages to a user’s inbox and the messages are received upon login. If a message is received while a user is online, the user is notified of the time of arrival, subject and sender.
